Lisa Jurkonis is the Founder and Honeymoon Designer behind Destined 2 Wed, based in Nashville. Originally a Texas native, Lisa began working as a “temp” at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, The Methodist Hospital and Waste Management, just to name a few, where coordinating travel arrangements and detailed itineraries for the doctors and CEO’s she worked with was top priority leading her to where she is today.
Planning a wedding for a dear friend more than two decades ago, her first “destination wedding” came 21 years ago — it was her own.
Founded 17 years ago, one month before 9/11, is when Destined 2 Wed opened for business. Now, through all the relationship building and rapports she has developed over the years with her preferred wedding vendors and travel suppliers, she was trusted to create the Plane 2 Paradise™.
